For a couple of years now Twan has composed and arranged many works for wind bands and percussion ensembles. He composes and arranges to the needs of the orchestra. Every orchestra/ensemble performs at their own level and in different formations. This requires a lot of flexibility and creativity on the part of the composer to make pieces that are playable without losing the musical essence of a piece. Through the years Twan acquired the experience to make this happen and is able to create a nice balance between playability and musicality.
